What is the last gun that you bought?

frost47: About an AK-47(74) clone: I pointed to one on a tv show, or probably the news, and told my wife that I might buy one of these, one day
(or a Vz-58).

Even though she has been very tolerant of my recent (since '07) 'gun bug', and is generally pro-NRA, she said, matter-of-factly: "You're not bringing one of those home". But the Garand, SKS and former Mini 30 (20-rd. mag.) have looks which Never provoked that reaction from her.

Most people (including many US veterans, and some gun range officers!) seem to have been brainwashed by the media and Hollywood into believing that the guns are only designed for bad guys to kill the good guys.

Another Weatherby Vanguard S2, this time in .223. Like my .308, I put a Leupold VX-2 4-12 x40 AO scope on it, this time with the CDS turret.

I'm really liking these Weatherbys.

Used Charter Arms Bulldog in .44 Special,,,

Used Charter Arms Bulldog, in .44 Special,,,
I owned two boxes of .44 Special ammunition.

It's a sin to own cartridges and not own the gun for them isn't it?

I already own a 4" Charter Arms target Pathfinder in .22 LR,,,
So this gun is a nice mate for the rimfire shooter.

$298 out-the-door at The Evil Pawn Shop.

Gen 4 Glock 22 LNIB for $500.
Didn't have anything in .40 but always see the ammo.
Figured what heck for the price can't go wrong.

Beretta Neos .22 with the 4.5" barrel. Put a TruGlo red/green dot sight on it. Wife absolutely loves it! (And she outshot me with it at the range too)
Grip is too small for me to hold correctly - so guys if you have large hands it may not work so well. But it is perfect for women and I'm sure kids could use it as a training pistol. VERY accurate and we were shooting just CCI normal rounds. Had a few fails to feed - but that is probably "new gun syndrome". I plan to polish a bit on the feed ramp when I get time. Great gun for $260 + the cost of the TruGlo!

Ruger M77 MKII in 243 caliber

Purchased a Ruger M77 MKII in 243 caliber yesterday at local gunshow

Nice rifle. Love the look.

Custom Blackpowder

.50 smoothrifle

Hondodog -- excellent going! A heavy old gun that, but, a neat single arm.
