Does Your Spouse Have Access?

no learn that from my first divorce also learn you don't really know them till ya divorce them
exactly they change like like dr jeckel and mr hyde. all the "trust" goes in the garbage can. it is funny the obsession with safes. remember when guns hung on the wall and behind doors or in glass cabinets? locking guns away like dynamite or poison gas to me reinforces the antis lies on how dangerous guns are (being they are unloaded)

I don't have access to a spouse.
Second that. My second Spooky Old Alice (ex-wife) jerked me around for a year before I got my Gun Safe Back. If and only If I ever marry again I will consider giving my wife keys and at that point I will have made better choices.

No. She's nuts! I hide the kitchen knives when we go away. She scares me and I have to go to sleep sometime. Bet you think I'm kidding...

Sounds like my ex. I convinced her to buy a lockbox for her guns to keep ME safe. Felt quite a bit safer when she couldn't load the mags on anything except her .22

Mine has it but never used it, she has problems with mechanical gizmo's.Plus why not order me around some more.

Umm...of course my wife has access...if I'm going to be out of the house overnight, she goes to the cabinet and gets out the nova h2o pump and S&W 686 and puts them by the bed because, in her words, "a girl needs options..."

Yes. She has her own guns. We also keep some of her higher end bling and important docs in there. It took me forever to memorize the combo and sequence so she used to open it for me to get my stuff out.
Whats the big deal?

My wife doesn't have access to mine because then she'd be tempted to count them. That wouldn't possibly end well for me. :)

AH just tell her what I tell mine, if guns are left unattended for too long they tend to entertain themselves and that leads to more guns :)

my wife has access to all my guns and I've taught her how to shoot them all. Why would anyone not let their wife have access to their guns? the guns are there to protect us and im there to protect her but im not always there to be able to protect her. never know when she might have to protect herself. I love my wife and want her to be safe with or without me.

Once my wife got interested in shooting, she got REAL interested. She accumulated a number of her own handguns which eventually required us to get an additional gun safe. We know have his and her safes, but we have access to each other's safes.

All she has to do is ask. The only reason she doesn't know the combination is she's had an aneurysm rupture in her brain and it's pretty much destroyed her short term memory. She can't remember the combination.

I wish she could.

Yes of course...because she's my partner in raising our sons. I want her to be able protect herself and our boys. After, all we have invested quite a lot of ourselves in this endeavor.
