Prices were pretty good, my meter is Remington Core-Lokts, these were about 19-23 in common calibers, a bit more in oddballs like .300 SAV.

Cheapest 9mm was like 12/box i think, but they had almost every caliber you can imagine...even more than the last Bass Pro Shops I was in. Only disappointment was no .22 LR and apparently they dont even carry reloading supplies.

I've seen .223/5.56 for awhile now. Just this week I've seen 9mm, .40 and .45acp, as well as .38special and .357 magnum on several shelves. Still no .22lr anywhere. Glad to see popular handgun ammo is making a slow but steady comeback. I think the restrictions on how much can be bought by any one customer has been helpful.

I was talking with one of the gun counter guys at a Cabellas in Louisville, KY last weekend and he was telling me that .22lr was steadily pouring in. And that it was still flying off the shelf just as quickly.

Gander Mountain in Knoxville, TN, is fairly well stocked currently. No details as i do not need any ammunition but lots of boxes on the shelves.

I went in a local sporting goods store yesterday. The ammo shelf was full of hunting ammo. The cheapest box of 20 was 45 bucks. There was a box of 44-40 for 110 bucks. No ammo for any surplus rifles at all. Didn't see any 22 either. They did have some 16 ga shells though. Picked up a box of slugs, no buckshot there, for the wife's HD shotgun......chris3

Local Wal-marts, Sportsman's Warehouse, and LGS's have a little hunting ammo and pistol ammo. There is no rimfire ammo of any kind to be found any where. Reloading supplies are very scarce. Small markets like Lexington will probably bee last on the list to receive any supplies.

The customers at our range in MN have returned to their weekly shoots. I have not heard any complaints from them concerning a shortage of ammo. 22lr is the exception and even that is now showing up more and more, and my local WM has said they are now getting in 5 or more cases per order on a regular basis.

Absolutely nothing in south Fl. Looks anything remotely close to that. In a 30 mile radius of my house, I have 2 BPS and 5 super WM with very little to show for.

I just left Sportsman's Warehouse in Irmo and they were out of everything except common handgun target loads and centerfire rifle mostly in belted magnums. I haven't seen non-magnum or short-action stuff in a long time. All of our Walmarts are always totally out of almost everything except shotgun ammo. One place in town has a bunch but they are scalping (Shooter's Choice). They want $50 for a box of ammo that should cost $30 at the most.

Sweet pic. Makes my mouth water and I wouldnt even have time to shoot it. Its definitely back. I scored some 60$ 250 rd Remington at wally last week and when I said "I need a 250 pack of 9mm right there", the wally guy said "how many". Not used to hearing that. Their were probably 12 of them.

Yep, from what I've heard that is the case locally where I live. It's coming in if you want to sleep in the isles to try and get it. Folks are still gouging the market at 10 cents per round, and it seems other folks are still paying that. Maybe, at some point sanity will return.

Having worked at the Gander in Knoxville I can say that they have tons of ammo coming in, but it is always higher than it should be.

It wouldn't sell if it's higher than it should be - so they have to keep adding on to store it all?

Plenty of ammo in central Kansas. I am not in the market but WM has 9, 40, 357, and most all rifle rounds including the Federal 220 round 223 packs which I have not seen for some time.

We have a Dick's opening today and they had saved up a bunch of 22LR to sell. They had 1400 round buckets of Thunderbolt which I passed on. Price was 69 but a $10 of coupon could be used. Affordable but not the kind of ammo I want. Had CCI and some other but too high for my tastes.

One guy told me several months ago it would start to loosen up for 22LR around November which is starting to look about right. People are still in panic mode and buy anything that they see.

I've been pretty much weekly checking a couple big box sporting goods stores and a couple small shops just to see what they have. You can get pretty much anything except for .22LR. Prices are still ridiculous on some of it (.223 for SURE) but at least ammo is a available.... (St Louis area)

I mean that you can find some of the same ammo $2-10 cheaper and in stock at other places in town. Their markup isn't that high, they just don't get very good pricing from what I can tell. I buy ammo there if they have something odd, I bought two boxes of Winchester Subsonic 22's this week and some Lapua 22LR last week.

I'm finding a LOT more brass on the ground at my favorite shooting hole. Must be coming from somewhere. 45, 9, .308, .40, 223 :D

I got pretty lucky at my local Academy this week here in Texas, scored two boxes of Remington golden bullet 525 and two boxes of Federal 325's. Not my first choice in 22LR but I'll take it. After being down to about 100 rounds a few months ago I have managed to get nearly 4000 rounds stocked up now. I've made a pact with myself to buy 22 just about any time I see it. My goal is to have 10,000 rounds in house. I reload all my other calibers so 22 is my only weakness.

My local wal-mart in AZ has .22 lr. Only $3.67/ box of 50
of course you can only buy 3 boxes of 50 at one time...
