I got carried away with the camo paint. It's a Rem PSS sitting on a 1980 International Scout II.

Whatcha think?

i like it!

both of em. i have an 82 Ramcharger. looks like i need to paint a rifle to match. wait does rust look cool yet? :D

Yep, that's me. I put them there right after I painted it a month or so ago. As a matter of fact, I think I found THR through the same link you did, you just started posting here first. Was it Nightcrawler's story? I can't remember now. I figured you'd post when you saw the pics.

Wheres the rifle? All I see is that -fine- peice of International Harvester booty.

I wonder how many people hear appreciate them, most people think it's a Jeep or something. It was my first truck. In high school I nearly traded it for a Jeep. I don't know what I was thinking. It's in pretty good shape, a little rust in the usual Scout places, and runs great. I'm planning to restore it up in a couple of years- fix the rust, maybe even see if I can find a 392 to go in it. It's my baby!

Willyjixx, why do you think it's camo? :D Sand the rust down, prime the spots, and get happy with the Krylon!

actually red, a friend of mine (clubsoda22) got me hooked on the high road a while ago. but the link to NCs story was great.

I've just painted my Savage 10FP in desert camo. I'll have to post pics. I also used to have a 1972 Scout II with the 345 V8. In 1992 I bought an '89 Ford Bronco and waited for the Scout to sell in the paper.

Even though I had a new-ish Bronco, I still drove the Scout about 50% of the time until I sold it.

There was something entertaining and satisfying about that lazy blub-blub-blub-blub exhaust note.

I traded the Bronco for a '97 F250 4x4 with the 460 V8.

Eh, uh, now I drive a 2000 Honda Accord with the 2.3 liter 4-banger.

What happened to my Mojo?!

That's actually the first home painted rifle I've seen that actually looks great! Good job dude.
