I received my XDs .45 back from Springfield earlier this month, and initially the trigger was heavier and had a lot of creep. The break was much more crisp though, and the reset was good.
So, over the course of a week, I dry fired it at least 300 times with a snap cap, and the trigger improved greatly. While it is still heavier than before, the creep is gone. The trigger breaks much better than pre recall.
I took my XDs to the range and ran 100 rounds of Speer Lawman 230gr fmj and 20 rounds of Barnes TacXPD 185 gr +P jhp, which is my carry round, through it.
The gun is still 100% reliable, as it was before, and because the trigger is better, I was able to shoot better groups with it at the range. Overall, post recall, the XDs .45 still rocks, and is my EDC gun.
Here is a pic of my first 6 groups, post recall, 1st range trip. Shooting at 7 yards, two handed, unsupported. I circled my individual groups in blue using MS Paint.
