Fiebings is good stuff. Very nice job on that rig!!!!
not yet, but i intend to add a simple hammer thong, in all the excitement i overlooked it retention is very good, still wouldnt want to get upside down with it thanks for the kind words, im happy with it given its my first rig, learned alot, the belt wore me out though, was more tedious than the holsterBeautiful, just absolutely beautiful, and the matching belt just completes the package. Does it have a hammer loop?
Care to take orders??!!?!?
I will be first to place an order for such quality holster for my Colt Anaconda.
why thank you! i intend on doing another one shortly, got a buddy that wants a holster for a snubbie and my dad maybe buying a single action that would need something! i really enjoyed the holster the belt was a little tedious but im glad i did itIt's good enough to buy from what I see. One thing I've done recently is to fund someone to do leather work for me. I just got my holster back that was made for my GP100 and its fantastic. I'm going to have some more scabbards made for rifles and shotguns.
yeah i have a bunch of eco flow stuff, its not bad but the black has been problematic on a piece this big especially. The eco flow i used was called ecoflo all-in-one, buffs out to a nice shine, used a little renwax although in the future i probably wont use the ecoflo all in one or use wax... im still learning!Fiebing's is superior dye. I have not found anything marketed as leather dye that does not work but Fiebing's is one of the best. Oil based and soaks right in. I think you will find that Fiebing's is much more durable as it penetrates further.
What did you use to get the sheen on the leather like that? Atom wax, shoe polish?
BTW: Im not your competition in holsters. I make bags (womens and mens), belts, and small accessories.
If that's your first I'm just going to throw my tools out. I've been working on leather for about a year and nothing I make is near that good.
thanks man! welcome to the High road!I really like the sewing, the strong-looking leather -what quality. That alone would be reason enough to make your own! Congrats!! The color and shine on those grips is eye-catching, too
