I have the XDS 45 and just wondering.

No.

You'd have to change everything that comes into contact with the cartridge.
Mag
Barrel
Extractor
Ejector
Breechface (hint, those don't swap out easily)

You could possibly use the frame from an XD(S)45 - maybe, possibly ... ... probably not

9mm in a .40 slide works well enough commercial barrel makers build "conversion" barrels to accommodate. But the 9mm in a .45 slide is just too sloppy for both the extractor and ejector to function.

By the time you changed the ejector, slide (because the breech face), barrel and bought magazines, I'm gonna say you are not far financially from purchasing the 9mm xds.

same holster will work, but that's about it.
