Which pistol do you wish you had back?

A Jennings 9,a 9mm semi-auto handgun. This was a very, very bad gun. I felt like it was at least as dangerous to the shooter ,as it was to the target. I sold it at a online auction and I've always felt guilty about that. I sure hope that nobody got hurt with that pos.

Colt Gold Cup in Bright Stainless with Genuine Stag grips.

Union Switch & Signal 1911A1.

Should have never sold them !!!

I've sold only 2 guns in my life. Now, I wish I had my AMT Govt. back. At the time, in the 80s, I didn't have the time or inclination to make it work properly, as it simply never did. Now, it'd either work or else....well, it'd WORK! It sure was a lovely gun. And it was quite accurate, when it worked. Traded it for a Colt Mark IV. No, I wouldn't trade back, but I'd love to have both.;)

I've never had too many handguns so Ive never had too many to sell. I think 3 is all I've sold off. I've sold a Masterpiece Arms Mac11 clone, a Springfield XD40 4" w/stainless slide and olive frame, and a Springfield 1911 A-1. I regret selling the MAC11, it was damn accurate, just clunky. But it'd make a nice SBR project, and the buddy I sold it to didn't have a safe and it got stolen, could have bought it back for what I sold it for if not for that. I miss the XD40 now that I reload but I don't really regret it so much. I liked my 1911 A-1, but selling it allowed me to free up cash for my XD45, which I like even more.

I sort of mist the HKP2000 in .40 I sold. I only bought it because it was such a great deal as I already had the SK version in .40 with a .357 sig barrel to match. I only sold the P2000 bc my SK is more compact but lately I've been carrying a Glock 19 which is about the same size anyways.

The only other pistol I've sold is a Springfield XD in .40 and don't miss it one bit. I have a Glock 22 and a MP .40, both of which I greatly prefer over the XD.

My Smith & Wesson 915. It was a solid performer and I never had any problems with it, but I wanted a Sig 226 and didn't want to wait to save the extra money. I wish I had waited.

My original S&W 5906, ordered new from the factory, my Dan Wesson 15-2, my HK USP 45c, and my Ruger Blackhawk in .45 LC. The only one I'm OK with passing on was the Sigma SW40F, and that only because I sold it to a friend who got 15 years of use out of it before he passed away a couple of years ago.

Most everyone is referring to semi-autos , but my traded off model 586 4'' 357 mag revolver was one I should have kept. It was very well constructed and very easy to shoot. I noticed it's been reproduced in Smith's latest catalog.

S&W M39. I sold it to fund the purchase of an HK41 back in the middle 1970s. I like the HK but miss the 39. They are hard to find now.

I've never gotten rid of a gun I liked. I have gotten rid of some that were good and reliable guns, and some that I feel guilty about selling (a .22LR Beretta Bobcat comes to mind), but if I like it, it stays. The only thing I ever got rid of that I wish I had back is my 1969 Camaro Z/28. I traded it for a station wagon.

Only two pistols I regret selling/trading/ etc.

SA GI 1911 that was sold due to a miscommunication between my wife and I about 8 years ago (long story)

And the Ruger Bisley .22 that went to fund truck repairs

there IS one other I wouldn't mind having back if the chance came up (a WW2 era colt), but the person I gifted it to is likely to be buried with it!

I have sold or traded countless firearms, and then had some degree of seller's remorse. This being the autopistol section of THR helps me narrow the list, as most of my regrets have been with revolvers.

I wish I had kept my first Seecamp LWS-32. I sold it before the prices went crazy, and did not buy another until the prices moderated again, years later.

I miss my SIG P220, with the heel-clip "European-style" magazine release. This was my 24/7/365 carry/duty pistol from 1991 to 1993. I sold it to finance a P220 with the so-called American-style mag release, only to find that I really did not like the newer type, as the whole grip frame seemed to have been changed a bit, causing the new P220 pistols to point low, and just not feel right. I reverted to revolvers and 1911s, not returning to SIGs until 2004, with the P229.

Two 1911 pistols: a Colt Ace and a Series 80 "Classic Government" Model; these were casualties of my two large purges of excess 1911 pistols, in 1991 and 2002.

I miss my pair of HK P7 pistols, from the original P7/PSP era.

Of these, I reckon I miss the Colt Ace the most. I got it for a very good price, due to some minor corrosion on one side of the slide that had been polished away, which affected its collector value, but not its value as a fun, reliable shooter. At least I did not lose anything when I traded it for the above-mentioned P220 in 1991.

My silliest sale/trade was the Seecamp. I did not really need the money for anything, and I almost instantly realized it was a mistake. I then had to wait until the period of low availaibilty and high asking prices was over, to get myself another one.
