Saw my first Glock 42 today

LGS didn't have one for sale, but had one on layaway for a customer and let me handle the gun. I must say I am impressed. The gun fit my hand superbly and is smaller than it looks in the on-line pictures I have seen. I liked it so well I told him to reserve the next one he receives for me. Should be here in about two weeks. Personally, I think Glock hit a home run with the G42, and will hit a grand slam if they introduce the exact same size pistol in 9mm.
 
That's awesome I'm glad you have found a gun that works for you as it sounds like you really like it
 
I friend shot mine a few minutes ago.

Like me, he is not a big Glock fan but he likes the G42.
He was impressed with the small size, light weight and accuracy.

I have a second one on order.

Today I received 300 Hornady XTP bullets to load up some slightly hotter than factory loads for carry.
