Can I join? I picked up my dream pair a little

while back, a pair of gloss stainless 5 1/2" slicktops with the White Ruger grips, model kbp-sf-1

07-08 according to the serial numbers which are only about a dozen apart.

I know that there weren't many made in the last couple years but does anyone know if there's production numbers by model somewhere?

I fell in love and paid too much but not really...it was in line with gunbroker at the time and they aren't making more yet so I don't see limited models like these losing much over time.

The above chart shows the approximate first serial number shipped for the indicated year. This number should be used as a point of reference only. It is not necessarily the very first serial number shipped, but it can be used to determine the approximate year your Ruger firearm was shipped.
Ruger does not produce firearms in serial number order. There are occasions when blocks of serial numbers have been manufactured out of sequence, sometimes years later. Also, within a model family the same serial number prefix may be used to produce a variety of different models, all in the same block of serial numbers. And in some cases, models may be stored for a length of time before they are shipped.
 
I guess I'll have to wait then as my camera

works but I have no way to get any pics off of it right now.

I'll try to pick up a new card reader today while I'm in town picking up a new to me 1860 Army. That will fill a hole in the set.
 
Got my new polished unfired frame today. I put some grips and a cylinder in it to make it complete.
I need to polish the cylinder to make it match.

Took my ROA to the range yesterday put another 6 shots threw it before i ran out of time i got there a bit late.

6 shots, 23g of black mz, and cream of wheat. I ALMOST put all 6 shots into the same hole at 15 yards. This gun shoots amazing

I sure do wish my 15 yd groups looked as neat. Mine are closer to 3-4" typically.

I sure do wish i could shoot in my back yard so i could go out shooting more often… I could use the practice obviously.

Yeah .457 RBs 23g black MZ and 14g of cream of wheat bore butter no wads.

The range isnt in my back yard but its pretty darn close, if the wind is blowing just right i can hear the gunfire from my house inside. Ide say 5 miles away

I think what helps is the target type sights. I do better with flat rear sights and a flat front sight. If its a bead and a V rear sight i dont think i shoot as well.

Also some one painted a little strip of white paint on the front sight of this ROA and it helps me see it better in the dark booths at my range.

Man that is one sharp ROA, Clements Bisley hammer, Banana River brass ram tip, custom Paul Persinger ebony grips with a blind screw, beveled and serrated front sight by Clements, Classicballistx cylinder.

Hmm...it's also on my wife's blue sectional sofa...no wonder I like it. I hope you don't try to sell it...I'm really partial to it.
