Anyone using this trigger? What are your thoughts? I am not wanting Geissele, CMC, or Timney references, only people who actively have or has tried the Wilson trigger on their AR15. Thanks.

I shot an AR that had a Wilson trigger before. Couldn't tell you which model Wilson though. It was a nice trigger.

Is there a specific reason you are looking at that trigger over Geissele?

My Recon Tactical came with the TTU trigger; very crisp at about 4 pounds - performs as advertised. Good luck.

The reason I want a Wilson is I am going to visit a friend in Missouri and Wilson's place isnt far from him. I wanted to get one while I was there locally. It'll be a cool trip and nothing could be better than buying direct.

The thing I would look at critically is the design for keeping the hammer and trigger pins from walking. If that looks well designed, and executed then I would go for it. They have several different models, get a cool one!

I have a TTU 2-stage. I like it. The trigger pull is essentially identical to that of my RRA 2 stage triggers. No perceptible creep in either. The TTU design appears durable.

I did have my gun totally tie up though when a blown primer (Black Hills 308 match) went into the trigger mechanism. The bolt carrier group wedged up hard against the hammer that could not go all the way back. I don't know if the same malf would have happened with another make. I had to "mortar" the gun muzzle down into a board to free the BCG.

A primer in the guts can screw up a standard trigger as well.

I put a ttu in my ar. It would fire on safe. Emailed Wilson, they told me the shaft on the safety was too small. Measured several safeties and all the same as mine. Took it back and got timneys.

I have one I need to send back - my weights measure it at 1.25 pounds. Nice and crisp, but that's just too light for my intended use.

I wonder if they had the new market woes with the first sales and have now straightened everything out? Might just go with a Timney, I've read a lot of reviews now about the TTU, most good, but the bad ones are pretty bad.
