If I weren't on the road headed to a wedding I would post a picture. The mug I just bought is a double sized coffee mug from Cracker Barrel. Brown and orangy brown two tone with the words don't tread on me with the rattlesnake pressed into the ceramic. Very very nice for 6.99. They have a lot of other patriotic stuff too but this jumped out and spoke to me.

Well now, that's an interesting cultural statement that CB is putting these in their shops across the U.S.

Cracker Barrel may be missing the whole RKBA aspect. It may simply be a patriotic homage to the famous flag that is expected to increase sales to many people that will not be buying it with any thought about RKBA. I wonder how long it would remain on the sales shelf if the Anti-gun people protested CB for selling a prominent symbol of RKBA? I hope that does not happen, but it would be interesting to see how CB handles it. Anyone know if CB has a any kind of record supporting or denouncing the RKBA?

He he.... Cracker Barrel will sell ANYTHING!! That is what makes it so fun. Turn a corner and right behind your "Don't Tread on Me" mug....

FROG STATUE!

Taking mom to dinner there in about an hour, I'll have to look for these.

Thanks for the heads up. :)

the frogs, mugs, or both?
The mug. Got a mug of my own and had a very tasty dinner of chicken-fried chicken too, served by a lovely and very very nice young lady. Like CB very much, always great service and lots of tasty food at very reasonable prices. Probably my favorite national chain.

Picked up my mug today and I must say it is larger than I expected...which is a good thing.

unfortunately it's stamped with the dreaded "Made in China". Funny though above that it reads "RED WHITE & BLUE"...

you gotta wonder what the Chinese workers are thinking while making those

I like the mug. I just don't like Cracker Barrel. Every once in a while I wind up stuck eating in one since it seems everyone in my family likes the place but me. Every time I eat in one no matter how long in between or what state I'm in they manage to mess my food up. The mug looks cool though.

Cracker Barrel is just naturally one of those apple pie places. When we travel or sometimes just want to run out for lunch you can't beat the food and service. Doesn't get much more American than cracker barrel. :)

Next trip in I have to get a mug.

Not tacky at all. Nice.

This topic reminds me of the all hardwood ping pong paddle they used to sell that is (in)famous in some circles.

I may have to pick up one of these mugs. I'll have to head down to Casa Grande because all the CBs in the Phoenix area are pretty rough.

I might have to pick up one of those to use as a pen and brush caddy for my reloading bench. The wife and I usually prefer mom n' pop joints, but I do get a hankerin' for some hashbrown casserole every now and again.
