I was trying to figure out how to handle powder in the field for reloading. Can't think about carrying a scale... ;)

hear is mine, I got a laser site for it and you can dial it in no problem. I shoot trail boss in mine. It came with a extra cilynener and mostly shoot the 10 rounds don't bother much with reloading, As I have more guns to shoot. If you want a laser site just goggle it, there are a lot of extras for this little treasure.

What bullet diameter? Could a jacketed bullet possibly work? How do you load the short barrel guns? How hard is it to convert back and forth to cartridge guns? I would assume you swap hammer and cylinder is all. Please feed my hunger for knowledge.

Willie: If you can easily cut (tubing cutters?) an empty shell you could weigh a charge and mark it and cut it for field use.

I cut the end of a .270 Win chrome case to use as a pistol funnel. Hard stuff! I'd think a .22 shell hard to fill.

The bullets supplied with these BP revolvers are actually heeled 22 short bullets with that liquid waxy lube on them. I'm sure you might be able to buy these from another source but they are about $4 a hundred if I recall correctly.
