Whats your favorite Spring/Summer Carry

Simple!

Any one of them.. but the bottom one on the left is my first CCW gun when CHL first started.

I've packed all four of them above one time or another. All shoot dead on with 158gr LSWHP Cor-Bon ammo.

Same as winter, Commander length 1911, or full size... but probably soon replaced with a Glock 21.

I like a J-frame snub .38 for spring/summer carry. I use Barami hip grips with the gun at 3 o'clock. All but disappears under a T-shirt. Works with extreme excellence.

I love this gun for it's small size but awesome reliability, and it's decent stopping power. JMHO.

YMMV.
That 642 with the Barami & Tyler combo looks SWEET!

I might have to do that with my 642.

I do like the smaller grip profile with a Tyler T-grip on the Centennials. Here's a 442 that I outfitted with Magnas and a Tyler. Awesome little carry piece.

Smith&Wesson shield in a desantis cozy partner holster.
Sometimes a kahr cm9 in a uncle mikes pocket holster.
Rarely but sometimes I'm the summer I'll carry a sig p229 in a galco summer comfort.
I am starting to carry the shield more and more as I continue to get use to the flip down safety.
Glock 27 if I'm going to be out past dark due to the night sites.

I got a new Kahr CW380 that I've been carrying and I like it real well, but if I want something with more oomph I have a very pocketable Kahr CM40 and a borderline pocketable Glock 27 .40 S&W, but it's really a belt gun, but it is my smallest belt gun.

Currently a SCCY CPX 2. I know, I know, it's inexpensive, but I've put a few 100 rds. thru it, without the first issue of any kind.

May buy a second one with the two tone look, that way I'll have one for dress and one for casual wear.

I tried the SCCY, I was really interested in it as a second gun, Illinois has an odd situation and I wanted to keep one gun loaded in my pocket and one gun unloaded in a pack. Anyway, I thought the price was great, but the reach between the back strap and the trigger is so long I can't get the pad of my trigger finger on the trigger. So to start the trigger pull, I just sort of got my trigger finger on the right edge of the trigger, start pulling it back and then had to shift my finger a little to get the pad on it. The LCP is like that for me - necessitating a change in finger position, or bringing into play a different finger muscle midway through the trigger pull.

I was almost willing to live with that when I saw the Kahr CM9 for sale for $320.00

So the R9 is going to be my pocket pistol and the CM9 is going to be in my pack unloaded.

That's odd COuntZerO, My trigger finger is short, courtesy of a punch press accident. I have no problem reaching the trigger if my SCCY. And No I'm far from being a large person 5'4" and 120 lbs., till I got old and fat.

Further, I'll wager that anyone having to use the SCCY for its intended purpose would never know of finger position on trigger, nor the loudness of the bang. Those Issues would be the furthest from anyone's mind.

Summer Carry

Keltec PF9, 8 oz, fits nice in pocket holster in front jeans pocket.

LCP, P238 or M&P Shield, depending on how I'm dressed, I'd like to carry my J frame...but I can't shoot it worth a dang.
