Brownells just shipped my backorder. I ordered some CCI small rifle primers on January 3, 2013 and asked them to leave it on backorder until they were available to ship. I just received the shipping notification on May 8, 2014. I was able to order primers from other sources long ago and had completely forgotten about the this order. Maybe this is an indicator that things are finally returning to 'normal'.

16 months does seem a bit of a wait when you consider other sellers have been shipping for months. It never hurts to stock up.

And I thought that MY backorder from Mid South took a long time. It was only 8 months. But I had forgotten about it too, so there was no frustration.
I've got lots of primers now, but I still cant seem to find pistol powder! Aaargh!
I don't think that things are any where near normal at least what I remember as normal. But this may be the new normal.

Just order some pistol powder and get it on the "backorder waiting list". By the time you see it you'll be needing more primers and then THEY will be out of stock
