I built this one

I never owned an AR but I just had to build one. I was going to build it to sell but was really pleased with the outcome so here it stays.

My first AR build, many, many years ago. Definitely old school but I have always loved the way it looks and handles.

My First. Might not be my last.

Here's my first build:

Agent1209, those look great. Who made your rail on the scoped rifle? It looks very similar to the SQR rail from PSA, but noticeably different enough to make me wonder. I really like the cut of that rail on mine, enough rails up front but also enough smooth skinny real-estate to be comfortable on the support hand.

I'll play! Here's one of my LMT that I took one day while missing the enlisted life.

Oh and I'm definitely starting one of those wood stocked AR builds.
Call me crazy but those things look slick!

Parallax Tactical made the rail on the scoped rifle. I think it's called a fssr rail.

The only gun I own, S&W M&P-15 Sport with a GI Loop sling and cheap cree LED (don't hate, cost $5, over 100 Lumens with a AA battery, and has held up to about 500 7.62x39 rounds and 600 5.56 rounds just fine, and yes, I keep a spare or two with my kit and carry one every day too )

I shoot the gun at Appleseeds and Field Matches, and it serves plinking and defensive duty too. I absolutely love the gun, the Sport is a great buy, especially a student like me.

Finally got a new upper with the SOCOM profile barrel.

Another A4 with Eotech FTS and 4x magnifier.

Recently just put these together....top 7.62x39...below 5.56

Then I had to have this....nothing fancy, this is gonna stay as is

This is my first AR build. I built the lower at least. I was on a budget that needed to be stretched out over about 5-6 months since there were other things that were also taking priority financially too.

I knew exactly what I wanted and knew it'd be cheaper to build the lower myself, but also cheaper to buy the complete upper. So that's the route I went this time. My final two upgrades will be to buy an A2 rubber butt pad to eke out just a little more LOP and a Primary Arms 1-6x scope so I can utilize the rifle in a wider variety of distances.

The upper is a PSA blem. Next time I do a build though I'll do the whole thing.

An update. I changed out the M4 stock for an A1 stock with A2 buttplate.

My recently finished pistol build.
10.5" of 5.56 fury and muzzle blast, it's awesome!

Chiccaronnes, I had a BCM middy set up almost exactly like that, but with a Aimpoint (clone). I really liked the way it handled (and shot!)
