Oh yeah, I had never heard of a Blood Work snubbie, Googled it and landed at a place I like to check out now and again (I assume this was what was meant): http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Blood_Work

#26 you get a bit giddy when Reid on Criminal Minds unholsters his Model 66

-When you don't watch CM, but caught a glimpse of the revolver-packing Reid in an episode while at a friend's house, then at the first opportunity made sure that he was listed in the TV Trope "Revolvers are Just Better." :D

I thought Reid used a 65 3 inch RB?

Personally it's the 2 1/2 Combat Magnum used by Joe Hallenbeck (Bruce Willis)

or

Phoenix Detective Ben Shockley (Clint Eastwood) who used a M66 2 1/2 snub.

What about when you shoot your 2" S&W 15 just as well (or as badly) as its 4" barreled brother (and both beter than a 6" S&W 14 by the way)?

1 is technicly a no but I own a 442 and a LCR and a 2 1/2" 19 and a 2 3/4" Speed Six.
2,3,4,5 are all yes
I have uttered 6 before although I don't believe it's 100% true.
7 have but not the norm
8 yes
9 yes and I own a DSII
10 does a 3" 696 count? then yes
11 and 12 are a no
13,14,16 and 17 are all yes
15 I haven't read the book and probably won't knowing the tragic fate of the DS.

They are made to always be with you and that's where the real love affair starts!
So many good new loads for themnow too! The old days of a stinging hand are gone!
They can have all their trick semi -autos, I just like a snubbie revolver!

Yes I know Colt made the magnum carry. They also made Detectives, Cobras, Agents, the SF-VI and the DS-II. I own and shoot them all. I also am a fan of those neat S&W snubbies in 44 Special

Just out of curiosity just what kind of snubby did Joe Friday carry in Dragnet?

Brutus51,
www.imfdb.org is your friend
In the first run 1951 it was a Dick Special in the second 1967 with Harry Morgan he switched to a Smith
