I have the C100 in 380 Auto (no longer imported but shown on Canik55's web site). The gun is super accurate and I really enjoy shooting it BUT that is after I had to send it back for repair.
Out of the box, she would not chamber a round reliably. I had to push the slide forward to get the round into the chamber. I tuned the ejector thinking that was the issue and it helped a little but the problem continued to the point where the slide just would not move. I sent it to TriStar on a Monday, they received it on Friday. They removed a burr on the slide and replaced the slide stop the day they received it and shipped it back to me the next day. I had it back in my hands on Wednesday.
I called them on Wednesday to verfy they received it and possibly tell me how long it wouild take to repair. Their reply was that it was fixed and shipped and I should receive it 'today'. I looked at my watch and saw that it was about the time my UPS delivers so I went to the front door and found the gun sitting on the step! Holycow, what great customer service!!
Since receiving back, it has performed perfectly. My particular gun had a problem which isn't uncommon for anything but what is uncommon is their turn-around time. Amazing! I've been thinking recently about a compact 9mm and won't hesitate to get a TriStar C100. With the political turmoil near Turkey, I'd be concerned about availability of Turkish guns. I might just go ahead and get that C100 in 9mm. I have a CZ75BD but have a tough time justifying the CZ75 Compact 9mm when I could get the same gun in the C100 for much less $$$.
