Greg, the outer strip is fully sewn to the main belt before the liner is sewn on. The screws at the end provide stability without belt holders.

I bought a Cobra 4 a little less than two years ago. Building these rigs have certainly been enjoyable. A learning leather worker cannot get enough of you tube, CAS City, and Leatherworker.net.
