Looking for a sling for an AR-15. It has a Cav. Arms lower so some of the common options are out. The stock is an A2 style and does have the normal slot.

Im not sure exactly what I'd like so im completely open for suggestions from anyone who is using a sling on this type of stock or something similar. Thanks

Thanks for the suggestions. I have been eyeing the mamba sling but was afraid it was a little too universal. Seems like it tries to do a little bit of everything. Reviews look good though.

What kind of attachments are on the usaslings??

I've been considering slings for a while and this is the first I've seen anything from usslings. Thank You! It's exactly what I was looking for. A no nonsense piece of equipment that will in all likelihood see nothing more than range time. And going for a good(unfortunately)cause. I will be placing an order shortly.

I'd shy away from 3-point slings. Had one for patrol use for several years and didn't have any issues until I actually started taking carbine classes that involved more than just static shooting. 3-points are great for standing around with a rifle slung.

Adjustable 2-point that I have on my personal AR and issued work gun. Simple and reliable:

You can attach it to the standard loop under the FSP but I find that gets in the way of a good grip. For my work issued gun, where I'm not allowed to replace the hand guard I went with this:

I've got it mounted on top, closer to the receiver which keeps the sling out of my way. You'll just need a quick disconnect to loop the sling to. If you want a lower profile option:

Requires drilling a hole into wherever you want to mount the QD. I couldn't do this with my issued gun.
