I've been using Remora's for a couple years now. I like them, they're comfortable and affordable. I EDC a little single stack nine.
I've found I like a VERY STRONG forward cant. With the pistol around 3 o'clock (the rear of the slide closer to 2:30 and the muzzle around 3:30).
I like this because:
1.) I drive all day, with a heavily bolstered seat. Me back can't take a grip in the kidney.
2.) It's immediately accessible in all positions.
3.) It stays unnoticeable, even under just a t-shirt. I can bend over (without doing the CC squat) move around, lean, lift my arms, etc...
So my question is... Do the ubiquitous hybrid holsters work well in this position? Or, would the front "strut(?)" dig into my hip joint, while sitting?
Now that there are a couple companies offering hybrids with synthetic backers. I'm kind of interested.
Thanks!
