Okay, ladies, gents and others, this is a new poll. Please ignore the previous one, as I DO WANT THIS ONE TO BE ACCURATE. Apparently, polls can't be edited and the poll has to be compiled after the thread is posted. At least those options aren't available to me using this Kindle tablet.

Many of you have a favorite .357, but what models actually lurk in the recesses of your vaults or drawers? One former state prosecutor told me he had a gun in every room of his home, including his bathroom. I thought this was a bit odd and asked a mutual friend who was an attorney in the same state if this wasn't just a teeny bit over the top. He shrugged and said, "For most people it would be, but for him, no. If I'd put away the the people he had, I'd probably do the same."

Most of us don't have this problem. We just solve our druthers, not by picking one or the other, but by just getting both or all. Some on this board even have multiple copies of the same gun!

So let's hear your top picks...the ones you've put your money down on.

And if the poll's not immediately there, please be patient. This software apparently doesn't let you compose the poll until the message is posted.

I give up.... I wanted this poll to allow multiple choices. Alas, this it will not do, neither can I change it. So just post what you have. Maybe the moderators can fix this. If not, I'm not willing to try it again.

My listing is:

Ruger Security-Six
Ruger Speed-Six
Ruger SP-101
Ruger LCR (which I forgot)
Smith & Wesson 686

Love all of them but wish I had a Smith 66 with pinned barrel and counter-bored chambers.

My lineup:

S&W model 66
Taurus model 65
Ruger Security Six
Ruger Service Six
Ruger GP100
Ruger SP101

I own a couple different one. I marked the GP100 because I have two, but I also own a Security Six and a Blackhawk.

Revolvers rock!

S&W Model 66, 4" The toughest, most versatile revolver I own. Eye candy to boot.

S&W Model 65, 3" A very nimble size, fills the hand just right.

Colt Trooper MK III, 6" Sweetest action and balance of them all. Bought it new in 1973 at a New Jersey (yes, you read that right!) sporting goods store for $119.00.

I only have two now, both Dan Wessons:

15-2 in about 95% with a 4" and 6" VH barrels.
715 in 99%+ with custom sights and 4" and 6" VH Barrels.

I own the S&W 686 4" and it's the one gun I think everyone should have. I also own an SP101 DAO which is also a gun I think everyone should have. I plan to buy a 3" 686 and 3" SP101 early next year....

Laura

Chiappa rhino 4", but really looking into a Dan Wesson for my next revolver

My absolute favorite is my Dan Wesson 15-2VH...I have 2 1/2", 4", and 6" tubes for it. I also have an S&W M19 with 4" and a 3 screw Ruger Blackhawk.

If I buy another .357 it'll be a new Dan Wesson in stainless.
