I'm currently using a Lee not exactly perfect powder measure. I found an adapter at Unique Tek that let's me drop powder through the expander die. Is there an RCBS or Hornady powered measure that will let me keep my set up? Or asked another way are the threads standard at the powder drop?

Yes the rcbs, redding, Hornady and Lyman will thread directly into your press. The Lyman uses a bushing, but it comes with it.

Uniquedot that was essentially my question. I didn't phrase it well. So the RCBS or Hornady powder measure should fit on my Lee powder through expander die, correct?

No, they won't fit the lee powder thru die, but Lyman makes a universal expander die that comes with several expanders for about $25-$30 and any of the standard measures will work with it. It also has better expanders as they work like (M) expanders.

If you want to buy a RCBS powder measure,

You need this adapter.:

Actually thr LEE PPM is very accurate. It is cheap and flimsy but it is amazingly accurate and consistent. I have tested it with many powders compared to my RCBS. It actually dispenses stick powder with no cutting better than the RCBS!

THE PERFECT ADAPTER™ - FOR RCBS® Uniflow™
Item No.: T1370-RCBS / Price: $15.95
The Perfect Adapter for RCBS Uniflow and Lyman Powder Measures The Perfect Adapter™ for the RCBS® Uniflow™ also works with Lyman and Redding powder measures, or any powder measure with standard 7/8"–14 threads. The adapter is custom manufactured from top quality 6061 Aluminum alloy. The top is threaded (standard 7/8"–14 threads) to connect directly to the powder measure, and the new hexagonal body makes for easier tightening. The bottom has two O-rings to secure the adapter inside a Lee Powder Through Expanding Die.* This setup allows you to expand the case mouth AND drop your precise powder measurement through the expanding die ... without changing dies!

* Also works with the LEE Rifle Charging Die (#90194).
