Well, would you believe it? The Super X was all gone by mid-Monday PM ! Duh !
Got some Aguila Stan. Vol. for just under $.08 per rd. (Not even copper coated).

Blazer Brass 9mm FMJ approx. $.24 rd.

Monarch .380 (9x17mm) and 9mm Makarov (9x18mm)(FMJ both) at about $.22 each.

Real cost is after taxes, which were not included in the above.

Not a steal, but I believe my larder is full.:)

Got a Gander Mountain flier in the mail today. They are advertising (note the key word is advertising which does not necessarily mean it will be on the shelves) CCI Standard velocity box of 50 $4.99. They are also advertising the Remington Golden Bullets Buckets of 1,400 rounds for $79.99 (about 5.7 cents per bang assuming they go bang). Please spare me any comments as to the Remington 22 rimfire as I am merely pointing out they are advertising the stuff, I really don't care if you personally love it or hate it.

This is a Thanksgiving Day sale and doors open at 8:00 AM. A few years ago, just before Sandy Hook they advertised Federal 5.56 1,000 round steel ammo cans for $299.00. While I never dreamed of going shopping Thanksgiving Day morning I went and bought a can 10 min. down I-271 from me in Twinsburgh, Ohio. Got home and my wife said I should have bought two if it was a good deal so back I went and snagged another can. A few weeks later Sandy Hook and the rest is history. :)

While I have plenty of 22 LR for anyone wanting any you can decide if you want to find a local Gander Mountain tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM.

Don't know if this has been posted yet or not so here it goes. Bass Pro has 325 count Federal Automatch 22lr on sale for 19.99 with free shipping. Limit of 2 per customer. Here is the link if interested. It has been a while since I've posted and I can't remember if linking is okay or not. If this is a violation of THR policy and must be deleted or if it should be placed somewhere else I totally understand...just trying to help by pointing out an opportunity to get some ammo if you need it. I am not affiliated with Bass Pro in any way other than having just ordered a box of ammo.

Yawn. Wake me up when its below $0.05 per round and I can order 5-10K at a time. I'll just continue to shoot hard cast lead 9mm reloads until then.
 
dangit... Midway canceled my .22LR backorder from a year ago

It's OK, only half of them Remington cartridges would have fired anyway. :)

I have had a case of Mini Mags on back order since Dec. 19th of last year with them. I called them last week and it is still considered a "valid"order and they will honor the original price if/when they ever receive stock................
 
It seems like 22 just isn't getting manufactured. Anyone know what the profit margin percentage is for 22 plinking ammo - roughly? Im talking about ferderal bulk, blazers, wildcats, and buckets-o-bullets, that kind of stuff that was $.04 a round prior to the 2012 panic. It would seem manufacturers just aren't producing it, rather they are making more than enough center fire to drive prices lower than prepanic levels
