7 62x39mm gel test: 123 gr Fusion

Good results. Its nice to see more options for x39 hunting rounds. The expansion of the fusion round was a little more than a 123 grain Hornady soft point I have recovered from a whitetail. That was from one of my handloads. Unfortunately, domestic x39 ammo has a horrible accuracy reputation. It would be nice to see accuracy results compared to other domestic ammo brands.

Might have to get a box to try in my mini 30.

The last frame shooting the water jug scared me a little. That camera( go pro?) has a great microphone.

I liked Fusion a lot in my SKS. That ammo plus tech sights made it a very viable medium game (white tail, etc) rifle for me.

What is the bullet diameter?

Might have to give it a try in my CZ 527 carbine.
