Just that? Removing the lube for my powder coating routine is kind of a pita.
Also, anyone know of boolits in the .451" range rather than .452? I found a few but not many.

I asked Randy Clark of Clark's Bullets about the possibility of buying bullets without lube and he said it was not a problem. Many cast bullet vendors are small businesses that tend to be flexible.

Oh, so I've been putting 500 lubed bulletsin a jug with acetone and a bit of mineral spirits and let it sit. Shake and most comes off, but not all, so then I vibe tumble them and the rest usually comes off but small grooves tend to hold it. Longer soak in solvent probably would help but I'm impatient. Likewise, .451" slugs would probably negate the need to resize, but I haven't verified that yet.

A pot of boiling water will get it off too.
When it cools, and the bullet lube will be a solidified cake of lube on top of the water.

Yeah, but they still have lube on them, just not as much, but enough to ruin the powder coat application. And it ruins whatever you cooked them in. And uses fuel that is not reusable. So, unlubed is obviously ideal.

An hour or so covered in a bowl of gasoline followed by a wash in soapy water, a thorough rinsing and air drying works for me, and doesn't bother the powder coating at all.

After the gas evaporates out there's a buttery sort of residue left behind that is something similar to napalm. Use your imagination with it.
