Filling the 6.5mm hole in my life

I hear good things about the .260 Remington, but have no experience with it at all. I do however own three rifles in 6.5x55, and have been very happy with their performance.

I have a .260 heavy gun and a 6.5x47 light gun. I like both for what they are, and wouldn't hesitate to build either caliber again. Used to have a 6.5x55, I liked that one too.

I think a 6.5 WSM would be an interesting proposition.

I think anything in 6.5 would serve well. Just figure out what weight bullets you want to fly, and get the barrel twist needed for them.

With the four choices on the poll, probably a .260....

Here is my little Sweed, she shoots like a dream.
It was built on a Carl Gustaf Mauser and is a real tack driver.

Could you post a larger picture of the foregrip area? It looks like there's a big palmswell under the checkering.

Another vote for the 6.5x55 Swede. I just think it's a pretty decent all-around cartridge design.
