32 caliber Thompson Center barrels

I had been looking for a .32 caliber barrel for a T/C Seneca stock & lock that I have. Kept looking on Gunbroker, but both the .32 caliber barrels, one by T/C and one, oddly enough, by Knight Rifle Company early on, sold for $400 to $500!

At the Fayetteville gun show a few weeks ago, I broke down and bought a like-new T/C Cherokee rifle, 2 barrel set, .32 caliber & a .45 caliber for $850.00. A T/C Cherokee with a .32 caliber barrel sold on Gunbroker for $900 a couple of months ago. Traded the "package" last Saturday for an unfired, like-new TVM Virginia longrifle, .45 caliber with beautiful curly maple stock valued at $ 1,200.

Expect to pay $350 to $500 and up for a clean, like-new, .32 caliber Cherokee barrel. A .36 caliber barrel will sell for $200 and up. Due to Gunbroker, .32 caliber T/C Seneca & Cherokee barrels are a "hot item".

.There are 2,, 45 cal.barrels for a Cherokee today on Ebay with a buy me now price of 225 for one an 300 for the other..32 cals. come up quite often.Keep a watch out and you might come up with a good deal.

I was luck enough to stumble upon an unfired GM .32 cal barrel at a local gun shop a few years ago. the only down side was it was a 15/16th barrel and heavy as hell. The up side was I got it for under 100.00.
