I have a fairly new job ladies and gents and I want to carry, on the job. You read that correctly. My place of employment encourages it. Weird huh? Anyways, my problem is I have to dress up everyday, not suit and tie dress up but biz casual and that creates a problem with my concealed carry options, mainly because I have to keep my shirt tucked in. Sure, I could still carry but I have no idea how I would be able to get to it fast enough under my clothes to make any difference. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks.

Pocket carry works with just about any mode of dress. Depending on your work environment, tucked-in IWB may well be fast enough on the draw.

When I have to dress like that, a small .25 goes in my pocket. Not my preference, but better than nothing. I, and many of my peers, used to ankle carry small 2" bbl .38's regularly, and eventually stopped due to foot circulation problems. I would not recommend ankle carry, but maybe more modern ankle holsters are better.

Try pocket carry. Get a pocket holster and try a lightweight .38 hammerless snubby or a sub-compact semi auto. Pants that have deeper front pockets seem to work best. Also wear a good belt to help keep the pants up with the increased weight in the pockets.

Would a tuckable IWB be an option? Some don't like the exposed clips, but I use leather loops and they don't look too out of place.

Crossbreed metal clips with Crosses do stand out a bit more.

We do business casual where I work. You might consider a sport coat over a button up shirt with casual slacks or even jeans, which would allow a strong side IWB. I have seen rigs that fit under the shirt, requiring a weak side hand that pulls the shirt up (and un-tucks it) while the strong side hand draws the weapon. In the photos it looked pretty efficient, I have not tried it myself

Ruger LCR .38+P in a pocket holster in right front pocket. I carry with this setup often and no one has ever noticed. Reload in a speed strip in another pocket. The bulge that is there could be a wallet, cell phone, etc. The holster makes it "no print."

I just got Kahr CM9 and DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster, but found out it makes too large bulge in the front pocket. It is doable in the jacket left inside pocket, but drags it a bit so that the suit is not that tight then. IWB on strong side works well, but requires having the jacket on all the time.

Deep concealment choices...

If you wear office casual or uniform type items(office/polo shirts with logo), Id suggest the following choices:
You could get a decent ankle rig but your draw may be awkward and slow, :uhoh: . You might walk with a limp or have a different gait.
Id say look into a well made pocket holster or a concealment garment(bike shorts, belly band, under-shirt/tank top). Some mesh fabrics and concealment designs are better than others. I have read reviews & web posts saying the 5.11 sport shirt is good. It supports small guns(S&W J/E frame revolver, Ruger LCR, SIG P290RS, Beretta Pico, Glock 42, etc) and won't sag or loose shape after repeated wash or long times of wear.

If carry is encouraged I would suspect that you won't be fired if someone sees clips or minor printing, so I wouldn't worry about deep concealment. A tuckable IWB (crossbreed or similar) would be perfect as it would allow you to carry a normal sized gun relatively comfortably.

If you feel like going with deep concealment you can do a belly band or something like a smart carry. I've successfully hidden a Glock 19 with a belly band in a suit with no jacket but it could print a little bit if I leaned forward (to tie my shoe for instance). A J frame in a belly band completely disappears even with just a t shirt, so with a dress shirt you should be very well concealed.

I often pocket carry a P938, and sometimes I can get away with my XDS 45. I also have IWB tuckable holsters from Crossbreed and Galco that work well with looser shirts.

+1 on the tuckable IWB. Allows you to carry a bigger gun, so more capacity.

Pocket carry, IMO, restricts the size, thus capacity of the gun being carried. If my employer not only allowed, but encouraged, I'd possibly even opt to open carry a duty sized gun with a good belt, and a sports jacket or suit for concealment.

Your posted location says "somewhere in the U.S., London or Australia." I'm guessing from this post we can rule out London and Australia. ;)

I have to dress the same way as you and I sit at my desk 80% of the time.

I carry a Taurus 709 Slim in a Galco ankle holster.
I realize that ankle carry is not ideal under most circumstances. If you were being mugged or assaulted while standing up it would be next to useless. I play the odds. Sitting it is a fine option.

I've carried a Browning Hi Power in a tuckable IWB quite a bit. Very comfortable and if you're careful, very little printing. The trick I never worked out to my satisfaction was how to carry an extra magazine. I have a small belt pouch but the corners still manage to stick me. I usually end up putting it in my pocket....

I know some can't get used to the idea, but www.smartcarry.com is a great option. I've carried many many hours with one, sitting, standing, driving, even riding a motorcycle, all with an HK USP Compact. Barely know you're carrying, draw is a bit slow, forget about reholstering quickly. But to carry more than a pocketgun discretely, its worth it.
