What is the correct term for the copper jackets that cover lead bullets? Then where do I find them? I ask because I just came into a box of "jackets" for .50BMG bullets and I want to look up the price.

Larry, many thanks! They are indeed called jackets No wonder I couldn't find anything on them. They are associated more with swaging than with casting. That site you linked was just the ticket. Very helpful!
