I have been lusting after this for a couple of years, finally traded my buddy out of it. It is a 1966 Commercial, bought the Ivories this weekend at the big Tulsa show. Love the Old School custom work, has S&W rear sites, orange peal stippling. Engraving was done by Bill Lowther. Please post any pictures you might have.

No gold inlay or mother-of-pearl grips?

Nice piece of hip-art you got there. I like the front sight too.

Very nice

Surjimmy, that is a classy pistol. It is the sort of thing an old man - such as myself - would carry.

However, for such a classic and elegant pistol, one should fit into the elegance of the arm itself.

For instance. If carried - and it's too good NOT to carry - one should have a real leather holster, properly fitted. Perhaps with a bit of tooling to match the pistol. And certainly matching in finish and color with the belt and magazine carrier.

Additionally, one should have a proper set of clothing and a tie matching. This pistol should not be embarrassed by a shooter wearing raggedy trousers and a pull over shirt with a ketchup stain.

Congratulations. That is truly an elegant and beautiful pistol. Not to mention effective.
