The gun is almost identical in size to the G42, in height and length, just a bit wider. Nice pistol, came with one flat bottom mag and one with extension for pinkie. No change in capacity on mag with extension. Felt same as G42 in my hand. The one G43 the LGS had was not for sale, but reserved for someone in LE. Should have stock next week.

My name is on a list with 50ish ahead of me - the first G43's arrived at my LGS today and I was there when a buddy picked his up. We put 100 rounds thru it. Long story short the G43 is a 9mm G42, not a scaled down G26. Soft shooting and flawless like the G42.

Glad I waited for it - I'm contemplating moving/selling my G26 Gen4 even before my G43 arrives to get ahead of the curve on used G26's being sold.

My friends just came in I will be able to shoot it next week. So, i bet a lot of new owners will be posting up

Lay a G26 on top of it and then tell me it isn't the same profile as the 26. The 43's slide is about 3/16" in. shorter, ending where the 26's slide starts to taper. Otherwise they're identical. Yes, the 43 is thinner, but it's larger than the 42. I was playing with all three at the NRA show, got there before the Glock booth got crowded.

Stack every Glock ever made on top of each other and notice the resemblance.....

We can look and "feel" all day, feelings lie. Shoot it. I have 1000's of rounds down range thru 1/2 a dozen G42's and 2X that many thru G26's. The G43 feels and shoots like a G42 on a teeny bit of steroids. In my hand and under fire it does not resemble my G26 as much as it feels and shoots just like a G42 with a teeny bit more snap.

I just like the single stack Glocks better. Others maybe not so much.
