We gotta hammer this poll quick!!

Go to the bottom right side of page for the poll.

(I saw another thread in L&P but I thought this was important in the short term)

Somebody post this over at AR15.com I'm not a member over there and it won't let me post for 48hrs.

Do you actually think CNN would allow a poll on their site to show anything but an overwhelming vote for extension? They even have a link to the Million Mom March right there next to the results.

CNN Lies. I've even seen bumper stickers that say that.

I saw it at sigforum. Vote and pass it on to any other boards that do not have a link up yet.

I voted.......wish there was a place to post comments though, I wonder how many of the people who voted "extend" are ignorant as to what AWB actually bans

Well, I voted for freedom, tho I'm convinced that, if the "poll" goes the "wrong" way, it will get adjusted... Damn scant honesty in CNN. Zipzeronada for ethics...:cuss:

Tom

Check out the link at the bottom of the results for rival groups argueing the ban. It has a single paragraph stating that there was a pro-gun rally near the white house and nothing more. I'll go back to Fox now.

We're losing guys. 23% for lifting and 77% for extending.

BTW, CNN threads merged.

I voted but it looks like we won't likely turn this one:

Lifted 24% 7384 votes

Extended 76% 22875 votes

Yup, we are behind by over 15,000 votes. Too bad you can't win them all, but it isn't good to lose this badly on one that will likely be broadcast worldwide.

I can't vote for some reason. I think it is because the last time I updated internet explorer was.... ummm.... never. Dial up sucks.

Someone should post this over on ar15.com they have a lot of people that don't sleep.

On MSNBC this morning it was reported that about 2000 people were at the MMM rally while there were several hundred who were pro gun rights. That's about as fair as we'll probably see.

Interesting. Less than a couple hours after bpisler's note of a 24% to 76% separation, I'm looking at it and it's suddenly a 22% to 78% difference. That's a lot of votes that had to come in in the last hour to change a poll with this many votes that much.

The poll is fixed. It isn't counting lifted votes. I checked the # of votes before voting and they were the same after voting. I deleted my index.dat files and went back and tried again. Still didn't change. Deleted index.dat files again and voted to continue the ban. Guess what? It counted my vote. What a bunch of turds.

Oh. If you don't want to have hidden CNN cookies on you machine gathering God knows what information, don't forget to delete those index.dat files after leaving there slimy site.
