Glock porn!

Only have one Glock, a G17, and don't have any plans to sell or trade it. Would love to have one of my Security Sixes back (blued with a 4" heavy barrel), and my S&W Model 58. While we're at it I wouldn't mind being reconnected with a very nice Manurhin PP and Manurhin P4 that I had to go with my Manurhin P1.

Haven't sold any of my Glocks. Though I've been lazily trying to sell my 23 and debating dumping my 30S.

I think I'd end up missing my Gen 3 23 and replacing it with a Gen 4. The 30S is a tough one, just can't really get it to the point where I'd prefer it to a 19 or 23 due to the stupid pinky pinching hybrid half grip design.

They make one with a full 19/23 size grip, I'd be on it like the Flash.

What do I wish I had back? First, the two that I still gnash my teeth over, are my commander-sized Colt 1991 .45, and my S&W Victory model with US Navy stamping and factory letter from Roy Jinks.
But also there's my Spikes Tactical mid-length AR, a new/old-stock 1970's Colt tri-guard AR upper that was mated to a Rock River lower, a Polyetch Legend AK I had in the 80's, and might include a compact IMI Baby Eagle .45.
How'd I do? Do I win the "Meathead of the Year" Award? :banghead:

Honestly, I really don't have any regrets on what I've sold. Some of the purchases were for what I thought would be that ideal firearm. After shooting for a while, some are fine and reliable and could easily pressed into self defense service but I'd rather sell them and put the funds into a different firearm or a duplicate of something I own and like and want a back up in case something happens to the primary.

Same feelings here...if I consider selling a gun for something else, I don't regret it usually.

I just sold my G23 Gen3 and kind of miss only because I carried it a lot, but I replaced it with a superior G19 Gen4...

I missed my P99 when I sold it off for a PPQ... Ended up selling the PPQ for another P99. Still would choose either of them over a Glock.

I find Glocks at least as visually appealing as some of their plastic contemporaries (Walther, for example) and far more appealing than others like the M&P line and any H&K's (especially the P30 and VP9... yuck).

Essentially any hammer fired looks better in my eyes, but to each their own.

The thread title is misleading. I came here expecting to see a glock in a g string.

For the most part, no regrets moving a gun along.

I sold my G19. Too many light strikes with it. I don't really regret selling it at all. However, some of my friends try to make me feel bad about selling it because they are all Glockbots. I just smile and shake my head.

Biggest mistake? I went home to think about a BNIB Royal Blue Python for $500 on consignment in 1996. Was gone by the time I decided to buy it.

I realize this is the semi auto forum, but there's only one gun I wish I had back. A Colt Anaconda 6" .44 Magnum. Of course that was then and this is now, but aside from being a beautiful gun, it's now worth five times what I paid for it.
