I'm referring to the one on the bottom of the grip that goes into the back of the trigger guard just below the bottom of the mainspring. What screw is this on VTI's web site? The one in the exploded view (Uberti Open Top) is shown as #32. The head on that one is too small in diameter and goes thru the grip frame. The one for the mainspring, #36, LOOKS like the right one, but the head is too large in diameter and too thick and doesn't drop down into the recessed area of the frame. Might possibly be too short on the threaded end too. I ordered the Army grip frame to change out my 1873 Navy grip. Looks like everything will work ok if I can get that particular screw. The lady on the phone told me everything would fit except that one "mainspring screw" as she called it, so I bought the extra screw. It does fit the mainspring but not the bottom of the grip. Oh, I changed to the 1860 mainspring too since the grip frame is a tad longer than the Navy,

The mainspring is the same as the Navy, the gripframe is longer, but the location of the mainspring screw is the same distance down as the Navy. The screw at the toe of the gripframe is larger than the Navy or OpenTop. The part number at VTI gunparts is 455.
