Just curious to see what most people are carrying in there 380 pistol and seems to work well for most people.

Mine are handloads. I had a ton of unknown make 95gr JHPs (look awful similar to federal hi-shock) that I rolled up in front of 3.2 grains of bullseye. A bunch of handloaded XTPs, too.

Hornady XTP usually, but I have a running mental battle on FMJ being just as effective. Potentially just as effective since I never shot anybody with either.

Remington HTP

88 gr jacketed hollow points for the Sig 230SL and the CZ 83.

Outstanding feeding and as far as shown on Coyote and Skunk Pig - pretty good terminal ballistics too.

Todd.

90 grn Federal Hydra-Shok. Have been carrying them for 2 yrs. Haven't had to use any yet,and hope to never have to.

HPR 90 grain XTP

Feeds fine in my Sig P238. Tests seem to indicate that the XTP does pretty well for itself in .380.

I have a Kahr P380 which is loaded with either Winchester PDX or Speer Gold Dots. I have carried Hornady Critical Defense in the past. All of these brands function fine in the P380 and I am comfortable carring any of them.
