Red dot question - holoson 407k

Clean the sight lens like you would clean the lens of your eye-glasses or rifle scope . I would use spray eye-glass cleaner and a old soft cotten T-shirt to dry it with . Nothing should be blurry or smeary ... it hurts your vision . Gary

    HAP BULLETS WITHOUT CANNELURE

Since 2015 I have been casting a 124 gr. NOE bullet #358-124-TC-GC , sizing them .357" and loading them in 357 Magnum cases . The 9mm Luger taper crimp die puts a crimp on the smooth sided bullets that hold against buttet creep . Your bullet looks like mine ...except mine has a gas check and a...

If you are looking for a replacement wedge ... try Dixie Gun Works . They used to carry lots of black powder revolver replacement parts . Revolver Wedge Types

It uses the wedge that was used on the Confederate manufactured Leech & Rigdon revolver . I'm not sure what type it is but it differs from the Colt made 1851& Colt 1860 revolvers . I spot the Leech & Rigdon revolvers by the basic 1851 Colt look but the round barrel is the giveaway . I guess the...

Ruger DeerStalker 44 (anybody heard of it?)

A nice little Lever Action would be Sweet ... it wouldn't have to be a semi-auto ! Didn't Ruger make a 10/22 Lever gun at one time ... I know I've seen one on the TV show ... Swamp People ! A 357 magnum or 44 magnum Lever Action would be a winner in my mind . Gary

In my 30-30 loads ... Accuracy Takes Precedence . I want Tack-Driving loads ... You have to put that first shot in the killing zone if you want to eat venison . Accuracy counts ... an extra 100 fps ... the deer doesn't know it ! Gary

You might want to check your extractor and ejector but other than those two things ... no other damage would have been done . The smaller bullet would not damage the barrel ... Be careful , Gary

Dumb question of the day: why do i need a tumbler?

Tumblers are just for Looks alone ... Some may tell you tumbled brass works better or shoots better or is mopre accurate ... but the truth is ... that is just Doodly-Squat ! Shiney brass just looks better ... and I tumble mine simply to make me happy ... I like shiney brass . If you want...
