what would you advise someone that is considering handloading 45 ACP so that they can afford to shoot. is the availability of supplies as ridiculous as the price of ammo? what brands of loaders if you want to shoot a couple hundred rounds a month and have free time to reload (retired)?
price gouging
just got back from rounds at local stores in Savannah area. no ammo at walmart or any other place i stopped. CRAZY! Walmart had a price of $29 for 45 acp but none available. went to bass pro for a fishing rod and they had a shelf of Win syx 45 training 230 fmj that was $23.53 with...
i must be a dreaming. what should a man be paying for a box of Rem, Win, or Fed 45 ACP ammo. i read other places where people think $23.50 is a good price for a box of 50 win sxz 230 fmj "training" ammo! please somebody help me with what i should be paying. some places were as high as $33 for...
thanks loads men and you have put my mind at ease. some "gunsmiths" are actually "gun mechanics", if you catch my drift, and our only smith died long ago. he lovingly and artisticly did his job till he died in his 90's. no replacement found or ever will be! glad to hear more comments.

videos were interesting and thanks. sometimes our strengths are also a weakness. glocks are light, reliable and take a beating as has been proven in the last 20 years. but it looks like this may contribute to problems when not gripped firmly. i couldn't begin to count how many times i've fired...
limp wristing
i would like some input on this "limp wristing" and the problems that existed with the glock 36. i have a glock 17 and 22C. after i got over the "plastic" i have come to be a glockoholic. i have shot these two guns repeatedly since 2001 when purchased new without one problem. i...
