Loaded Question........ This was my late fathers ammo. Early '70's vintage. Cool storage. Looking to sell it at a gunshow. What's a good asking price?

How old were you when you first fired a firearm?

I was 6. My grandfather was a knife and gunmaker. My father was Highpower shooter who frequented Camp Perry. They started me and my brother on a Savage 1904 singleshot 22lr.

    .348 Winchester Load Advise

I just got the enlarged collet housing for my Forester case trimmer. Rocker press, RCBS dies, Hornaday 200 gr #3410's, CCI ptrimers and IMR 4895. I think I'm good to go. Dummy round a good idea. I'll load 10 and go to the range.

That makes sense. I Remember hearing case length and overall length were very critical to feed problems.

    .348 Winchester Load Advise

Hello All, I'm looking to reload my late fathers pristine .348. I've reloaded thousands of rounds from a 22 Hornet to a 300 Win Mag over the last 40 years, but I've never reloaded this round. This rifle has had less than 200 rounds fired through it. (I should know, I'm the one who shot up all...

    9mm Minimum COAL

Finally settled on 1.080. Looks like the coal is long enough where the Bullseye is not getting compressed, have a more tapered profile for my FTF, and "passed the plunk" on both pistols. I want to thank everyone for their help, especially jmorris, walkalong, mehavey and geodudeflorida

    9mm Minimum COAL

    9mm Minimum COAL

OK Guys, Seateted at 1.100. Be nice to seat it lower for my FTF problem on my CZ, but I don't want to exceed the chamber pressure. Note the original line 1.156 and my foopah at 1.005.

    9mm Minimum COAL

Great info. This my first with 9mm flat nose. For years I've always loaded 124 FMJ @ 1.156

    9mm Minimum COAL

Pacific Handloading Manual has 3.5 to 4.8 gr as the margin for a 125 gr 9mm. I started near the midpoint.. From there, see my post #51. Thus my Flat nose Zeroes were too long, causing my FTF problems in my CZ. My Beretta will feed about anything.

    9mm Minimum COAL

I bench tested my 92FS with various FMJ bullet weight and powder charge. I grew up on Bullseye, so that's a no-brainer. Factory load 124 gr are more consistant than 115's I started with 4.0 gr Bullseye, and worked my way up. 4.4 is the "sweet spot." I loaded these flat nose to 1.169 10 years...

    Yes

    9mm Minimum COAL

Only used a 1/2 dowel rod with a RCBS puller. Keep whacking until it stops rattling. Works perfectly!
