    LCRX in 22WMr

My wife carries the LCRx in .22WMR. It's accurate, has never had a problem, and she prefers it to her 351PD, which has become my 351PD.

    Beretta Tomcat..?

That's an interesting comparison, given that both of those pistols weigh significantly more than the P32.

    Beretta Tomcat..?

My Walther PPKs are more pleasant for me to shoot than my P32s. I think weight is as big a factor as the type of action.

The gun you hate to love....

I guess I would have to say my black P32. It's been flawless for almost 600 rounds, and I love it and rely on it for discreet carry. However, my FDE P32 has failed (broke, not stopped) twice in 700 rounds, which serves as a nagging reminder in the back of my brain that these are cheap guns.

    Beretta Tomcat..?

To anyone with arthritis and hand strength issues, I'd recommend shooting this gun before purchasing. It wasn't reliable for me. My guess was that it was a combination of my weak grip and the upside-down grip safety, which demands a high and tight hold.

Grips for a 2025 Walther PPK

I gotta tell you, in addition to looking really nice, the wood grips also fill my hand better. I can't imagine ever going back to the plastic grips.

Grips for a 2025 Walther PPK

Hogue hardwood grips for the PPK will fit the Fort Smith model. The inside of each grip half has a locating pad that will need to be lightly (no power tools) sanded in the locations shown below: It's easily done with a file. Just file a little then check the fit. You don't have to take off...

    Beretta Tomcat..?

My thoughts exactly. If Ruger does do this, I'll buy one, and if it meets my expectations, I'll slowly swap over my P32s for a couple of Rugers. I like the KelTecs, but there's no getting around the fact that they're very cheaply made. One of mine has been 100% through almost 600 rounds, but the...

    Beretta Tomcat..?

One thing to note about the P32. I also have arthritis and greatly reduced hand strength, and the P32 is not an easy gun to rack. I can't just grab the slide and casually pull it back. I have to really wail on it. My blowback PPK is much easier to rack.

    Walther PPK 32 ACP

I don't think I'll ever be able to shoot my .380 again, but I recently bought the American Gunsmithing Institute's PPK armorer's course, and I plan to use it for that.

Suggestions Wanted: Small, All-metal, 9mm, SA (Without taking out a mortgage)

In 2020, I bought a new old stock P290RS after that model had been out of production for more than 3 years. When the front sight went dead a few months later, they sent me a shipping label and replaced the sight for free, no questions asked. As far as "proven safety problems", that involves only...

    Walther PPK 32 ACP

I shot pretty much everything through those guns, Lawman, WWB, Magtech, American Eagle, Aguila, Hornady XTP. The first one I owned was when my hand strength and thumb and wrist problems were just starting and I hadn't been formally diagnosed. The gun was mostly reliable, but not reliable enough...

    Walther PPK 32 ACP

It's also limpwristing intolerant. I've owned two of them, and the worse my wrist got, the more unreliable the 42 got, to the point where it would jam just about every round.

    SCCY is dead

My wife and I have had to send several guns to Ruger over the years. None has ever taken 2 weeks to come back, and the only time we ever had to pay for a shipping label ($45) was for a several-year-old LCRx with over 10,000 rounds that had a broken transfer bar. I just had to send a new SR22...

    SCCY is dead

I owned the LCPII, P290RS, LCP MAX (3), Glock 42 (2) and P365-380 (3). If my CPX-3 had been better built, I would take it over any of those. The size, capacity and ergonomics were perfect, and I loved the DAO trigger. Unfortunately, it was a cheaply built gun and after about 1800 rounds it...

    Worst safety EVER!!!

The safety on the Ruger LCPII .22 is unlike any other I've encountered. I hated it.

    Kel-tec

I have a pair of P32s that are my primary and backup for NPE carry. They're great for what they are, but they're not high mileage guns. If I were to practice with them as much as I usually do with my EDCs, I'd need 3 or 4 of them.

    Best .32 under $500?

Bersa just did a run of Thunder .32s, and they appear to have sold out pretty quickly. OP could call Bersa CS and find out if they're going to do any more.

Gun Magazines in Print. Do You Still Read Them?

I get Concealed Carry magazine in the mail every month.

Bersa 32 acp handguns are back !

It can be a hard concept to master because it's upside down. My arthritis makes it difficult for me to maintain a high-and-tight grip, which is what the EZ seems to require.
