    9mm case fail

Having had that happen twice, I have three possibilities. Weak case. Unsupported chamber. Big one, bullet telescoped into case during feeding.

    Thankful for a dad

My dad decided that the best way to keep us in guns and shooting was to become a gun dealer/commercial reloader. His business sense sucked but brother and I made sure we broke even each year. Miss him as a dad but not as a partner. Miss brother always. They tried.

    Bear Loads, Really?

My 686+ only holds seven. Should I send it back? Just kidding. I think an N frame can hold eight.

    Bear Loads, Really?

When I’m boondocking on my little farm I always carry my bear gun. In case I run into big bad meth head biker Bear. Other than the odd ‘yote or bobcat, the most dangerous thing I’m likely to see. Have run mushrooms and ginseng thieves out before.

    Shooter, Collector, or Accumulator?

Accumulator that shoots weekly. At trap. Almost always the gun bought new in 1975. But I have five other, more expensive, fancier trap guns.

JC Higgins Model 20 project gun exceeded expectations!

The Cutts tubes have a real flare on the receiving end. You duplicated it well. I’ve played with Cutts chokes since 1970 and am amazed at their performance.

Is Delta 9 THC a controlled substance?

I think this horse has been beaten past death. The OP should have gotten the final word even though it isn't what he sought.

    Thinking about a 22lr handgun

1953 K22, Ruger Mark I, Colt Sport Woodsman, Smith 63, and a Ruger Super Single Six provide me with lots of fun. And I have Magnums, too.

Cobbling Together a Rimfire Silhouette Rifle

My backup match 10-22 started as a $125 closeout about thirty years ago. Lmost everything I've added but the barrel came from other shooters. Trigger group, a Kidd I bought for $100 along with a stainless spotted barrel that I used elsewhere. Stock, a hand-held own laminated Ruger target...

    50 years

Been shooting my 870TB for fifty years also. Replaced a few parts along the way after the pounding weekly trap shooting gave it. In fact, the only original parts are the stock, stock bolt, barrel and bolt.

Midway alert, the U is no more

Sure glad I bought out an estate a while back. About twenty one pound cans (sealed square Hercules cans) of 2400, BE, Unique, and Bullseye. I have a few bottles of new stuff and use old data with the old. Love 2400 in 357 and 44 mags, Hero and Unique in 9mm, 45 Ago and 45 Colt.

    Brass tumbling

Even n with three or four tumblers, including a Thumblers Tumbler, a Midway shaker and a tub vibrator I seldom tumble brass. The last time was when I was cleaning up 32S&W black powder blank cases to reload for my son, the track starter. Rarely see the need.

Those Brazilians keep enticing me with things I want at affordable prices

Wish I'd kept my Brazilian contract 1917. Bought in '88 for $150 from some Cali company.

    Unknown Wads

I tried the Grand Prix in a ml shotgun. I got, about 50-50, either a blown pattern or a 5” hole in the pattern sheet at 30 yards. Dropped that project.

    Unknown Wads

Vandalee had two slits, Grand Prix had partial slits and Chalice looked like wine glasses. Shot thousands of them way back. Stopped at Herters in 1975 at Mitchell and bought a heaping grocery kart of these, 10 ga hulls, card and fiber wads, and other stuff. Got to checkout and wife asked where...

    Colt vs. S&W

Up until the mid sixties i was a Colt fan. When Colt began dropping revolvers, 22s, and single actions, I dropped them. No regrets as I have some darn nice Smiths and Rugers. Some vintage.

    Your shooting frequency recently.

I shoot trap weekly but my rifle and handgun shooting has taken a back seat to caretaker duties after wife's multiple surgeries the past few years.
