Based on the discussion here and further research I'll be pulling the rounds.
Oddly enough, 4.6 grains of Bullseye was considered a starting load based on the older manuals. Nowadays not so much...
After all the above I took it home, cleaned and lubed the gun and went to test fire it.
Factory round fired ok. Tried one round of the reload and that's when the second blown case occurred.
After that I pulled a load and confirmed that it was in specs charge weight and OAL.
I was shooting some reloads and had two case failures. (See photo)
It's old/new Winchester cases, 4.6g of Bullseye with 124g FMJ bullets.
I loaded them on a Dillon press but checked the charge weight as I was loading.
I also pulled a round yesterday after and the charge was right.
Any ideas...
After much anticipation, (cue Carly Simon song...), my Kephart Tribute knife was delivered today.
