I absolutely plan to.
Nothing at all. I’ve been around long enough to see that stupid crap happen exactly as you described; but today is not that day.
So I’ll enjoy the brief respite from the fall into entropy while I can. I think I’m going with that two-stage.
It was for me, because now I get to try to figure out which match trigger I want for my AR-15. Single or Dual stage, without worrying about their stupid gun laws.
People will always find something to complain about.
I, for one, am more than happy about not having to worry about some potential federal bill like an AWB or magazine ban or some other stupid nonsense being pushed by oppressive politicians, or wondering who is in the majority of the Judiciary...
There are many places that a bullet wouldn’t be welcome on an airliner. There’s not a lot of excess space for systems. A hole in the “pressure vessel” would probably not be that big a deal, but a hole in a primary hydraulics system, even with redundancies, would suck.
Not all pilots want to carry a firearm on a plane they’re piloting. In light of that, there’s new secret tech now that negates these problems. You can simply eject troublesome seats. They can also identify seats in which the phones aren’t in airplane mode. The controls for those systems are...
Well, I think it’s a way to induce a spiraling effect, much like rifling, to the Tibanna gas used in blasters in order to increase their accuracy, greatly increasing the hit ratio of Stormtroopers.
Gee. All this silly “going down the rabbit hole” about “modern” and not “modern” and “common use” and yadda yadda is like arguing about the number of angels that can dance on the head of a pin.
What will we ever do when AR’s are no longer “modern”, which they actually aren’t, and get a phase...
The whole percentage thing is completely stupid. It was a made up gimmick to begin with, and then became part of the vernacular, playing right into the hands of the antis.
What is even the point of SN’s? I know what the anti’s SAY the point is, but if criminals get their guns illegally anyway, all it does is get the police to scrutinize the original purchaser. It’s just a way for the .gov to be able to keep track of who owns guns.
I just think the .gov can dictate FMV to be whatever it wants it to be, just like they do with eminent domain and the forced confiscation (wasn’t that also a “buyback”?) of gold back in the ‘30s. They certainly won’t use Gunbroker “Buy Now” average prices, and the whole thing is moot anyway...
I think the whole bump stock thing was taking bad advice from the NRA and trusting in letting the ATF redefine things. I don’t believe it would have gone down like that again. It was a “newb” reaction combined with misplaced trust. Red flag laws?…. Yuck. That’s a can of worms.
Sure, it’s...
While there are plenty of other issues out there that people like to use to weigh their decision to vote, I don’t put those on the same level as rights as guaranteed under the Constitution. The 1 and 2nd amendments, to name a couple, aren’t in the same category to me as some “forever war” stuff...
