• Possible Downtime Alert

    I am working to migrate THR from the current cluster to a new one. I would like to get this done before the weekend, but it's unclear what the timeframe will be, as testing is still ongoing. As I am writing this the new (rebuilt) host is doing a burn-in to ensure that everything will keep running under load.

    When the migration happens users will see a Cloudflare message indicatating it cannot connect to the server. This is expected, and depending on how the migration goes this may last from 30 minutes to 3 hours - I won't know more until testing the various migration options is complete and I have finalized the plan.

    I don't have one but it's high on my list, the ability to change uppers/calibers with 2 pins is amazing... 300blk, 6.5 Grendel is cheaper, faster and more practical than carring 3 guns in the woods...

    There I fixed it for you. It's basically a modern 7mm rem mag, if you don't have one, why not get the newer model, if you have one no need to change unless you want a new model.

    If it's in meters that's a 28 yards like you mentioned. So it's the best dispersion range so far... one thing to note with a 10.5 to 12.5 barrels the 25 Yards give the best spread as the 25m(28yards) given the reduced velocity . As for the 300blk I found the 20y zero and 100 yards calibration...

    I don't think a chamber flag is ment to have a bolt dropped on it. It's a chamber flag, not a bolt catch/stop. Leave the bolt open and chamber flag in. Last thing you want is a piece of plastic jammed in the extractor, inside the locking lugs or in the firing pin hole.

    Get yourself a bullet Bore laser for your caliber/gun. Match the crosshair with the laser point at a distance... say 100, 200 yards... Done. Next day go shooting at 100 to fine tune it.

    The closest thing I have found is a 5.6x50mm Magnum but no reference to an AR15 prototype in that caliber.
