    S&W 657 vs Dan Wesson 741

I want to thank everyone again for their thoughts, comments, and suggestions. You all are wealth of knowledge! Truth be told, when it comes to revolvers, I'm really a Colt guy at heart, with the exception of the S&W 686 (which I have a 4, 5, and 6 inch bbl). I honestly was really torn...

    S&W 657 vs Dan Wesson 741

So I bought the Smith... I liked them both but turns out that the S&W was a limited edition and the serial number was my father's birthday, so I took it as a sign. I'll keep my eyes out for a DW. I want to thank you all for your comments and suggestions. Enjoy!

    S&W 657 vs Dan Wesson 741

Thank you everyone! Ok guys, up date. I'm going to have to confirm the model # on the DW. The S&W is a satin stainless finish with a fluted cylinder and full under lug. It is pre-lock.

    S&W 657 vs Dan Wesson 741

Thanks guys. I do reload, so I would be buying a set of dies no matter what gun I bought. I have heard that the DW's are really nice, but never handled one. Any thoughts on the 657 being a performance center piece? Thanks!

    S&W 657 vs Dan Wesson 741

Hey guys, So I got a wild hair and decided that I want a .41 mag. I'm looking at a S&W 657 and a DW 741. Both are used. Both are about the same price. Both are 6" bbls, but the S&W is a performance center model. The DW is blued, the S&W is SS. Both are are in mint condition. So, which would...

Wilson 92G vs Sig 226 Legion

Hi all. Wanted to give you an update. So, I went back to the gun shop. Was leaning heavily towards buying the Beretta, but wanted to fondle them both a little before making up my mind. Turns out the Beretta was sold, but they had in a Sig p226 Black Legion. It was in the used section but...

Wilson 92G vs Sig 226 Legion

Hi all. So, I wanted to treat myself. I went into to my LGS thinking I might pick up a Sig p226 Legion, but for the same price they had a Wilson Combat version of the Beretta 92G. They are both very beautiful guns, and I'm sure that they both will perform great and that I would be happy with...

    Odd Sig P226 Legion

That is amazing! I want a p226 Legion, but don't like the pvd grey finish and the silly Legion marking.... now if we can just get rid of the ridiculous front serrations, it would be perfect! BTW, do you know if it can be had with out the optics cut?

Hi guys, my coworker is looking to sell a Winchester model 37. It's a take-down style single shot 12 ga. 2 3/4. Its also marked "steelbuilt" . Serial number 143xxx. Now, I'm not really a shotgun guy. I know very little about them, but this one has nice wood and the bluing is 99%. It...

Best pistol for noob under $600

Hi all. One of the young guys that works with me turned 21 years old a few months ago and has saved up $600 (+/- a few bucks) for his first handgun. He asked me what is the best all around handgun for his budget. He's looking for sd/hd and range fun. No plans to carry (yet). I immediately...

Thoughts on the Dan Wesson 751 (.41 mag

They are asking $1400 for the 6 inch and $2000 for the 8 inch. Seems high to me. Is that too much?

Thoughts on the Dan Wesson 751 (.41 mag

Thanks everyone. Beautiful guns! Thank you for the info and pics. Both guns come with the wrench. The 8 inch also comes with the box and paperwork. Also both are the full under lug shrouds if that helps with ball parking a price. Any feelings on the 6 inch vs 8 inch in .41 mag?

Thoughts on the Dan Wesson 751 (.41 mag

Sorry guys, one more question... what is a fair price range for these guys? The 6 inch has aftermarket plastic/ rubber grips and has been shot some, but is in good condition. The 8 inch looks basically unfired. Thanks!!!
