    help me make some dippers

I make dippers for stick powders as I don't like to chop the powder up in the powder through. I can trim a brass case so it dips just a bit less and dump that into the pan and trickle in the rest. Making the handle is the fun part.

    CZ P-10 C

I have had a Glock 19 and 17 1st Gen. and those did not point well for me, I guess Glock is working on that? Point shooting is one of my favorite drills and the those Glocks failed for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwC4RL-FpDE Just for fun. So the Glocks that I have had did not point well...

Best all reason all season semiauto

Best all reason all season semiauto This checks a few boxes, I have not shot or handled one. https://www.springfield-armory.com/hellcat-series-handguns/hellcat-pro-handguns/ I have handled a Hellcat and did not care for the trigger, don't if the pro has the same trigger group?

    Be86 and rmr 124gr tcfp

I load the RMR MW 124gr TCFP for a Sig 938 using CCI 500 and 5.2-5.3gr of BE-86 at a COL of 1.10" and it works very well. I've loaded COL's down to 1.075" with poor results.

A .22 handgun for home self defense?

    A 22 magnum from a 4" barrel could be a adequate option. I'd go with a revolver.

What would you pick for CC

The Shield Plus is pretty good, the improvement I noticed most was the trigger, I have one and I like it.

What would you pick for CC

I have not shot one but Springfield Hellcat looks interesting.

What would you pick for CC

I carried a XDS 9mm for a few years and liked it. I now carry a Sig 938 legion and I like it more, I prefer the SA trigger and the smaller lighter package. Sorry no comment on the Glock the ones that I handled did not point well for me. Any reason you are not considering the sig 365? I got a...

Starting to reload a new cartridge

Cool a locked breach action. Slower powders should perform well.

Starting to reload a new cartridge

I have not tried BE 86 for 380acp, that would be worth a shot for sure:)

Starting to reload a new cartridge

When loading for 380 acp I found choosing a powder that meters well is a big plus, sorry to repeat but Accurate #2,#5 W-231 and Bullseye work well. I'm sure there are more. I found with the small case volume of the 380 acp the margin of error is less when loading up. Stay safe.

Starting to reload a new cartridge

I seat three bullets in empty unprimed cases to test such things, this practise has worked well for me.

Starting to reload a new cartridge

For the Extreme 100gr plated FP for 380 acp I loaded those at .950" COL. That worked well for a Bersa 83.

Starting to reload a new cartridge

For 380 acp I have only loaded Extreme's 100gr FP, Accurate #2 and #5 preformed very well in a 3.5" blow back action. I did try WSF with this bullet at 3.7gr with good results( don't the recall the COAL but I can find it) W-231 also did well with the before mentioned bullet. I do not load mixed...

What one rifle for home or farm protection and hunting would you pick.

What one rifle for home or farm protection and hunting would you pick. "If I could only have one, at this point it would probably be an AR, but not in 5.56. I'd opt for a 6 ARC or a 6.5 Grendel since they are better for hunting." I agree with this statement.

    Powder handling mistakes

I have learned there should be only one powder on the bench, I learned that the hard way.

    1963 Marlin 30-30 we Microgrooves

The issue with the Micro groove barrel with lead bullets is the bullet can bypass the rifling if the velocity is to high, leading to inadequate spin of the projectile. So a larger diameter bullet will correct the problem. Not sure about slugging a micro groove barrel, the grooves are pretty...

    1963 Marlin 30-30 we Microgrooves

I think .311" is for lead, for plated plated ? maybe .310". I use .308" jacketed in a Marlin 30-30 Win. with a micro groove barrel and get very good results.

    Food for my .30-30

Try some IMR XBR 8208 it has worked very well for me for 30-30 Win. with 150 and 170gr bullets.
