The best feeling pistol I ever shot was a Browning Hi Power. It points perfectly and fits my hand very well.
The .44 mag shooting a 240 gr SWC at 1240 fps worked like a charm for me for many years. In one side out the other every time.

Everyone has a recoil tolerance point. When you reach it, your body starts to respond to it, sometimes as a shaking of the hands etc.
