    3" Stainless Fixed-Sight .357 Magnums

It's a Cylinder and Slide Extreme Duty U notch. The front sight is the TruGlo TFX J frame sight. The rear sight is much shorter than the stock, the J frame sight shoots to POA.

    3" Stainless Fixed-Sight .357 Magnums

My GP 100 and my (2.75in) Speed Six are two of my favorites. I converted my 3in 686+ to a fixed sight version, definitely easier to carry concealed.

American Precision Firearms APF-R1 series of revolvers

For that kind of $. That crane looks weak. Seriously, that's a magnum revolver. For that kind of money I would expect something better. Charter arms vibes.... definitely

    3in N frame decision

The 624 3in is about 3oz less than a 629 3in Deluxe (which weighs about the same as my 629 Mountain Gun). I guess it comes down to what your planning on shooting. Magnum loads? Special loads? Light Magnums? I don't routinely shoot Magnums from my MG. 240grn at 1100fps is my go to, more stout...

    Woods/Hunting gun

I've taken several 200# plus Indiana Whitetail with the 357. ( 180 grn XTP loaded with 14.3 grns on N110, around 1400fps from my BH, 1700+ from my Marlin) It's more than adequate. If you put a stout Magnum load ( 357, 41, 44) in the right place, it will do the job. My 6.5in Blackhawk is an...

    I guess I don’t like my wrists.

I have a 629-5 also Magnaported, just 2 ports. 240grn SWCHP at 1100fps is about as hot as I go.

    Why Own a Snubby?

From the beginning, this thread should have been an admiration/love fest for the snubbie. It's devolved into something it shouldn't have.

1.8 million people were injured in car accidents last year. Did you read my post, or the one you quoted as a "great analogy" ? He didn't mention "fatalities"... I said "SERIOUS/FATAL" (meaning BOTH serious and fatal) 1.8 MILLION!! AGAIN....to insinuate CAR ACCIDENTS happen as frequently as SELF...

    Why Own a Snubby?

No, it isn't. Serious/fatal car accidents occur in this country EVERY minute of every day. To insinuate that self defense shootings happen anywhere near that frequently is ridiculous.

    Why Own a Snubby?

Relevant? Against multiple attackers? Against a mass shooter armed with a rifle and hundreds of rounds of ammunition? Or a hood intent on stealing my property, at any cost? The scenarios presented diminishing the use of a snub-nosed revolver are unlikely, and honestly far fetched. I asked you...

    Why Own a Snubby?

What I'm saying is that for the vast majority of those of us who carry a firearm for our personal protection, we are not at all likely to be armed in a scenario involving multiple shooters...or someone intent on mass murder. 350 million people in this country, what percentage of people have...

    Why Own a Snubby?

Speculation, and almost ridiculously random scenarios don't really translate to everyday life. The reality is simple, and obvious. "Numbers" show that without a doubt.

Very presumptuous of you. I'm sure you think highly of the people you "know". I think highly of the members of this forum. In case you haven't noticed, not all agree with you. And they may be right. As hard as that may be to admit, or even acknowledge.
