Dont care about 300 yards. Do care about my barnes bullet still having enough velocity at 200 to properly expand. Doesn't always happen with the TC and 150 grains of powder. Hammer systems also suck. No hammer lag and no need to cock anything with the remington. Rifle primers are far superior to...
What's everyones thoughts on the new model 700 muzzleloader? Really like most everything about it but I'm worried it will be a fad and the special primers etc will be hard to find.
Is this system going to catch on and become mainstream?
I often wonder why people spend so much time debating differnt calibers and numbers on paper. You shoot anything with a high power rifle and hit it where you're supposed to and it's going to die. Projectile choice is much more important then caliber. The most important thing is being able to shoot.
If you're really going to "trust your life to it" no way I'd set a price limit on what you buy. If it's just your excuse to buy another inexpensive gun then fine. Hard to beat the shield right now. Sales and rebates. Guessing they're going to come out with a 2.0
I hunt northern MN where bucks grow BIG. Trophy bucks generally weigh 225 -275 lbs gutted. The longest shot I have in my stand is 265 yards down a shooting lane. The bigger conern is most my shots are close range in poppel thickets. I want the knockdown power and better ability to bust through...
Looking for advice on a 308 AR for deer hunting. I recently bought a BCM in 556 and really like the platform. Looking g at possibly getting a compact 308 in the same platform. Looking for something lightweight, reliable, and accurate. Doesn't need to be super tactical just plan on mounting a...
The problem with ordering from Browning is that the factory synthetic that came on my MK 2 stalker is the LOP is too long. I believe the way the stock is designed there isn't enough material in the butt of the stock to cut it off. It's essentially a hollow piece of plastic. You can pinch my...
I have a BAR MK 2 lightweight stalker. I had the stock cut off a few years back to shorten the LOP but the guy didn't do a very good job and it bothers me. I would like to put I higher quality aftermarket stock on it. What are my options?
I just purchased a bcm 410ss upper with ion black finish and a bcm lower. This is my first AR. Personally I wouldn't go any heavier in profile than the 410ss. It's hand lapped and plenty accurate. With an AR it seems the ammo you feed it is going to be more of a determining factor for accuracy...
I do not believe I would need something like that. The sights would be on the same plane just by mounting a weaver base to the front and back of the barrel. TC triumph has a single plane on the barrel. The only doubt I have is how close my eye needs to be to the peep and if it would be a similar...
I don't see how a TROY BUIS sight would be any higher then a scope? I thought I could put a weaver base on the back scope mount and then have the front sight drilled and tapped for a small weaver base.
The main benefit I'm wanting is the dual size peeps for short and long range shooting...
