I like the laser for training. I use it at times when working on my point shooting. Unlike many will tell you in the real world most of your shooting will be point shooting. As far as a defense tool I have on my Glock 19 a Trijicon RMR for if the time comes that I can use my sight in a gunfight...
I have a Trijicon on my Glock I had the work done here http://www.landmprecisiongunworks.com/drupal/index.php
Mark gave me a great price and did a great job
If you do some force on force you will see at combat range many times the guy with the knife will win Most people still believe that one shot with the gun will stop the attacker. That is what movies are for nothing like the real world
I live in Arizona and have trained many places. One of them even being Gunsite. In my book the best trainer in the business is Gabe Suarez. I know he has instructors in TX You can find who they are and when they are having classes at warriortalk.com Gabe no way is a PC kind of guy That is...
Shooting to stop the threat just sounds better in court. You always shoot to kill. I remember training with my dad as a kid who was in allot of combat during WW2. He always said anything worth pointing a gun at is worth killing
Good rules to. The one about a knife at a gunfight at times can be iffie. Doing force on force at 5 feet that is the distance most fights start at If the bad guy already has a knife out and you have to get your gun in play it could very well be over for you

Rules For The Gunman
1). Don't carry the gun to make you a man. Carry because you are in fact a man.
2). Always carry your gun regardless of social pressures
3). If you can't physically carry a gun, always have a...
I agree Bob. You live in TX I in AZ. Thank God we both live in a free state. A state that you don't have to beg someone just to get in your own car. I'm sure TX is like AZ in the sense that not a week goes by something goes down as self defense that in just about any other state they would be in...
Yep. They milled the slide in front of the dovetail and mounted the fastfire. That way they could use the dovetail for the rear suppressor sight. At first I had just the dovetail mount for the fastfire. Then I was thinking odds seem to favor what can go wrong will go wrong at the worst time. So...
Here is how I had my Glock done. To me it makes it the best defensive Glock you can have. If your interested in who done it for me send me a message and I'll tell you how to get in touch with him. When I got the Glock I took it shooting right away. Being 60 and bad eyes I was shooting better...
Trouble is with age the eyes start to go with most people. Then the Red Dot can make all the difference. Also if you put the Red Dot on with the iron sights like Gabe does your still good to go if the battery fail good to go
The thing is it should be up to the person not the Government how he carries. Here in Arizona at times I like to open carry. I do it to show the people from out of state this is a gun friendly state. If they don't like it then get the H**L OUT!
Guess when it comes to Gabe your not smart enough to know the facts. Never spent a year in jail guess you don't know that would make him a felon. How can he teach all over the world not just here. Guess your pretty closed minded don't have to worry about me coming around
